Freya Gosling Therapy
About Me
I am Freya, she/her, and I am a qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Psychotherapist, registered with the College of Sex and Relationships, the UK’s only professional standards body dedicated to these specialised disciplines.
I hold a postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Sexology and Relationship Therapy with the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS). I provide affirming, culturally competent psychosexual therapy that celebrates and supports clients across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, honouring each individual's unique identity, relationship structure and sexual expression. My practice is intentionally adapted to welcome neurodivergent and disabled clients, with a flexible, personalised approach that ensures therapy is accessible and comfortable for each individual's specific needs and preferences. I have a strong commitment to anti-racist and anti-oppressive practice within my work and work within appropriate ethical boundaries.
Prior to qualifying, I worked in events management for 5 years and for a small arts and cultural charity for 6 years. I understand from first hand experience the challenges of working in high-pressure environments and the effects of career strain and burnout when trying to balance work and life. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts postgraduate degree in English Literature and History of Art (University of Birmingham).
I have worked for therapy businesses like the Awareness Centre and most recently for a South West London Sexual Health clinic providing psychosexual therapy for an NHS trust before moving into private practice.
