Sex and Relationship Therapy that Empowers

Starting Therapy
Seeking, being in, or trying to leave different relationships can be some of the most daunting experiences of anyone’s life. I can help you approach relationship anxieties and work through sexual function issues at a pace that works for you.
Hello and welcome to my practice. I am Freya, she/her, a COSRT (College of Sex and Relationship Therapists) registered psychosexual and relationship therapist, which means my ongoing learning and training is monitored by a professional body.
My psychosexual and relationship therapy practice is talking therapy, though I will bring in reflective interventions and exercises as and when they might be beneficial for clients in their own therapy journeys. Read more about my approach here
Fees and availability
My practice is currently offered online via Zoom sessions. I aim to reply to all new enquiries within 48 hours. If you have any questions about the way I work, or to discuss the reasons you are considering starting therapy, I offer a free 20-minute introductory session to allow us to determine if we are a good fit.
Full therapy sessions last for 50 minutes and are usually weekly. Fees start from £70 per session for individuals, or from £120 for relationship therapy.
If you have concerns about affordability, I offer a limited number of concessionary rates – please contact me to discuss this on freyagoslingtherapy@outlook.com. Sessions that are cancelled within 48 hours will be charged.

My Approach
I am pluralist psychosexual and relationship therapist, which means I believe that no individual therapeutic approach can resolve all client presentations and that different people are likely to want, and benefit from, different interventions in therapy.
This approach also provides an opportunity to explore presenting problems from a biological, sociological and psychological perspective, as there is often overlap between these when it comes to sexual function.
Discovering new perspectives and reflecting on your lived experience to date can be a healing and invigorating experience – particularly when it comes to sex and relationships. With this in mind, my approach is holistic; I prioritise developing a therapeutic connection with clients to build trust and a supportive and safe environment for clients to thrive, not just survive.

Client testimonials
"It was really great to be able to discuss sex and sexual issues in an open and non judgemental space, and learning the science behind how things work has helped me be able to listen to my body and mind in order to have better experiences."
"Therapy has felt anchoring in a difficult time and having a dedicated hour each week to talk has been amazing. I felt safe enough to talk about so many things no matter how confronting/hard. I’ve taken so much from our sessions and I feel like it’s expanded my thinking. Thank you so much Freya for all your time. "
